Hi all I'm Will. 🙂

https://twitter.com/boujeehacker

This blog (or newsletter if you like) is basically a long form version of my twitter

My background is in software engineering.

I currently run a full stack application (web and mobile) software engineering firm https://will.vc/ where I serve as a tech lead developing and project managing for customers in a variety of fields. Always open to new opportunities if the fit is right.

Arthur C. Clarke once said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a magician.

I've loved tech since I was a kid playing games on my dad's Windows 3.1 machine.

Throughout my career, I've built software cross-platform:

  • from pre-launch to user bases in the 100 millions

  • Across 12 unique technology stacks

  • with startup teams from 2 person seed to 100s at Series D totaling ~ $300+ MM raised

  • also, with the 4000+ engineering team of LinkedIn pre(and post) MSFT acquisition.

I enjoy product engineering 👨🏿‍🔬.

That is being one who works with other roles at a company (product, biz dev, sales, etc.) to figure out how to turn what we want to do for our customers and the business into code. Then shepherds that into production and manages the ROI lifecycle.

I’m not all business 😅

🎉 Fun Facts:

Some other interests of mine include:

  • bars / restaurants ( I've curated google maps lists with 100s of my favorite places in Atlanta, Austin, SF, LA, Miami, and NYC among other places)

  • I’m a semi pro competitive smash bros ultimate player

  • I drink a lot of soda water… my friends would say im basically half sparkling water.

  • Lived in a coliving place with a rotating cast of 50 ish people of and on for my 5 years in SF

  • I left SF for Miami in 2019 before it was fashionable lol
